The listing, Grandpa's 'Ole Pocket-Watch has ended.

This is a nice pocket-watch by Parmex. I've had this since I was a kid. I have collected to many and this is one I feel that I can let go of. Not the oldest of watches, it requires a battery. I didn't have the accurate size but was able to shim one of my wife's size 10 hearing aid batteries, and all seems to work great.
-button on top of knob releases the cover
-pull knob and wind to adjust, push in to set
-back of cover has beautiful floral decorative
-includes chain
-made in China, Singapore & Taiwan
-assembled in China

I'm looking for a - Victorian preferably or Edwardian heart shaped fob watch if you come across one keep me in mind? Mine was stolen a long time ago n I've been on the hunt for another. (easier said than done)'

I agree, the classic wind -up watches are the most appealing, I have about half a dozen antique watches in my collection. A few I have found @ estate sales, the others where handed down to me. I have another watch I will be posting soon, not an antique, but just as cool, none the less.........(8
