just a heads up, windows 10 is free to the world.......:-) just my two cents. or folks theres always torrents. i have windows 7 and windows 10 on flash drive bootable and both was free. this is an easy fix..... i will keep an eye on it. f/w might bid???

actually if it is giving you that message then the copy of windows on the laptop is not a legal copy, you would need to reinstall windows, and the cost of a windows OS disk is anywhere from 75 dollars to 150 dollars, even at best buy, had to do this once with another computer best buy makes you buy the disk since when the code is used then it can only be used again by the same computer, fun huh

about this genuine conversation i been told the copy on my is not legit by a service guy , well 2 actually and i get all my updates, i dont have that notice on my screen like is on yours but again everything works i get all updates and cant see anything is affected by using my P C as is,, Good luck to you great auction ,

Yes, it's just missing that part but you can still type the number on that part because there's this rubber part that you touch that still works fine

It varies you'll really be making it genuine yourself when you go to the store they'll just tell you to buy this certain cd that you'll put in the laptop and it'll tell you everything to do step by step and it shouldn't cost no more than $20

It's not that hard actually all you do is probably take it to best buy to like geek squad or call the company of the laptop but would rather recommend to take it to someone who you can talk to one on one so you could learn more information and they walk you through it to get it genuine it's a easy process for everything to happen

Basically you have to get the windows genuine because when you open the laptop up and power it on when you get to the main screen it'll say windows not genuine which you can still do things on the computer however you'll have pop ups interrupting you if your doing anything on the Internet
