I remember when this movie first came out. It was crazy! During the movie as the fire got stronger the theater kept getting warmer and warmer! We were all freaking out. Come to find out, the owner of the theater did that intentionally. He was genius for doing that. Of course, we didn't find out that was done until a month later. That's all everyone around town talked about. Guess they didn't want anyone who saw it first to tell what they did so that everyone would have the same experience. I'd love to own this. Hopefully one of my listings will close before someone else gets it.

Wow that's an interesting story. It's a shame theaters don't really use gimmicks like they did back in the day. That would probably draw more people to the theater. Hard to justify the cost of going to a see a movie these days. But what a great memory to have of seeing this movie. I'll admit, even though it's from the 70s I think the special effects were very well done. I was on the edge of my seat once the action got started. Good luck to you!

It's definitely my favorite movie of all times which is why when I saw it, I had to share what happened back them. I'm really hoping nobody gets to it before I do!!
