This Listing is for a beautiful Natural Semi-Precious Gemstone Cluster found on the Sierra Nevada Mountains, in Plumas County California.

My husband and I love going out to this spot by our home. We find some beautiful specimens, and thought I would share with you! Depending on how this listing goes, I might share some more of my finds.

(All pictures are of the actual stones. The last few are pictures with them next to a nickle to compare sizes.)

Oh wow! I don't think I will ever leave these mountains. I was raised in the SoCal/Los Angeles area as well. And when I found these mountains at 18 and thought OMG I was very deprived as a child!!! So it's where I'm raising my kids. Haha I will definitely be sharing more soon. The pocket that these garnets came from is one of our new finds. So I literally have rocks sitting in every windowsill right now. Lol! Thank you so much for your wonderful comments :-)

I grew up in Huntington Beach & could care less about the ocean after spending time in the mountains..never thought I'd leave either but I usually spend winters on my property in desert by Death Valley..When I hit the lottery I'm buying Grover Hot Springs State park..lol..I hope I'm not bugging you just getting a little homesick :)) I live on a beautiful scenic river here bit way too cold for my old bones..Very peaceful & the geese in my profile pic have nested again for the 7th year in a marsh behind my home..They are wild & VERY mean but oh so pretty..That is my front yard & the river had too much ice for them to find food so we left them sweet & minnows They were headed for it when I took pic

I too know a couple of places as I know Susan does too!! HI Inkdmama, come on over to Utah for a visit, we can go rockin and I'll show you some killer places!!!! Maybe we can get Susans butt back here too!!! Ha ha ha~! I love my mountains but would also kill for an ocean!!!!! ( and not the Great Salt Lake) lol! Hi there! I actually just moved back from Utah about a year ago. :-) Lived in Grantsville for a year but had to come home for family. I visit twice a year but have not been gem hunting there yet. I'll have to check it out the next time I visit. My mother-in-law was raised there and has great stories about the topaz

This dang thing is not letting me fan you, i'll keep trying it takes a few hours sometimes....the topaz are not in real good shape right now, it's sad. they are still there but people are not real bright, and get out there, not knowing what they are doing, getting stupid faced and destroying them...fools! i've been trying to get the joke, oops i mean the government to step in and make it private for a while, i'd even buy the rights just to let it chill for a bit! then i'll come pick you guys up and we'll all go rockin!!!!! oh yaeh, sorry but saybye- bye to the gorgeous stone ladies.... xoxoxoxo
