The listing, Early 1900's Tobacco Premium Tobacco felt has ended.
Haitian flag on felt swatch. During the late 19th century and early 20th century, Tobacco companies offered premiums in forms such as collectable cards. These fabric swatches would be handed out with purchases or sent off for. I believe the idea was that these pieces of fabric be used to make things like pillow covers perhaps.
I'm curious about the spelling. I don't know if this may have been an error or if this was the accepted spelling at the time. Google says it's an African American community in North Carolina lol. If anyone has some insight I'd love to hear from you. All feedback welcome. FREE SHIPPING IN THE US
