Does the red slider have a metal price inside the red part?

There is no red slider. There is a blue slider and the part that is in the middle is what you hold onto to slide it to the measurement you want. Thanks for the question.

Yes infact after looking very closely there is a metal piece that is in the round blue piece.

Sad I teach a lot if ladies who gave up and are coming back. Don't it's not that hard just take your time, get a book with lots of photos and fewer words you will be much happier. Like baking a cake one step st s time don't jump ahead.

Thank you for the word of wisdom. I have this deep need and passion to learn how to quilt. My great grandmother who I was very close to would quilt and would let me hold all the fabric. It just reminds me of her and I. I need to get pass my fear of whatever and just do it.
