My son has one of these shirts, He loves it but its too thin for him to wear during winter. I am a smurf lover myself and it rubbed off on all four of my kids.
Good Luck with your auction.

That sounds super fun. You should try to win some of the huge lots of beads on Listia, even if they are some or mostly plastic. Plastic is good for kids crafts ... if you need more credits and decide to list a gift card please be sure to let me know. I prefer to buy gift cards from my buyers and if I have the credits I'll GIN a gift card so you can win a big bead lot listing. I've seen at least one that is current, and you can usually find a few of them.

Last second bids always happen on nice listings that draw a lot of attention. The problem is usually how many credits you have TO bid. If I really want something, I throw everything I've got at it, or whatever it's worth to me. Then if I get outbid I don't mind ... it was too expensive for me.

Regarding gift cards, I prefer Amazon. You can accumulate an unlimited account of gift card money on Amazon and spend it whenever you want. Amazon has almost anything you need (I just ordered ziplocks for my beads from Amazon) and I'm a Prime member so it's almost always free shipping too. I can use Walmart gift cards, but never shop at Target, although my kids would probably use a Target gift card.

If you plan to list a gift card, I'd offer a choice of the "big" retailers like Walmart, Amazon, Target, or possibly anything you can buy online (they can usually be sent electronically or a hard card sent through the mail to the winner). I think that's the best strategy with gift cards, unless you have a specific card in hand that you want to list.

ya, if I were to do oe, it would be either Target or Walmart. I have never been on Amazon or E-bay

I also like ebay gift cards because I buy all my Listia stuff on ebay, but you can only buy those in $10 increments ... i.e. you can't buy a $5 gift card from ebay unless you buy it in a store. So you have to be a little careful if offering a $5 gift card, be sure you can purchase a gift card that small from whatever retailer the winner wants. I think most retailers you can, but it would be a big hassle if you promised a gift card to a winner that you could not provide.

Amazon is super easy, if you have a credit card you can buy and send an Amazon gift code in seconds. Ebay is a little more difficult. you MUST send it to the e-mail address attached to the person ebay account, no one else can use it. And, its a minimum of $10 and in $10 increments, I think. I've never bought an ebay card, only received them, but I know some sellers have trouble with the process. And Walmart you can purchase online and either send the code or have them ship the actual card to the winner. Not sure if they charge for postage.

I would definitely get one for Walmart or Target.. I love going to Target, they have super great deals on baby clothes ...lol

The other option is to just buy the gift card and send the person the code if they want to use it online, or pop it in the mail. But, you can provide gift cards without leaving home if you want to.

I am not the type to use my card online, I dont trust the web...lol.. I would rather go get one at the store, and then post it :)

I believe you can buy ebay gift cards in stores too, which might be the easiest and most reliable thing to do. I've never bought them and I don't even look at them, but I know Amazon gift cards are available in a lot of stores.

It's safer to use your credit card online usually than in a store. Store systems get compromised all the time. Just think about all the banks that have been broken into electronically, happens at least once a year.

I've never had a problem using my credit card with a major retailer online, but I also use Paypal whenever I can, and most online retailers take Paypal now. That is super safe.

I wouln't bother if you are happy with the results you are getting on other items. It's just a quick easy way to get a lot of credits quickly if you need them to win a specific listing. Selling a gift card online is way cheaper than buying credits from Listia. That's the primary benefit.
