Buffalo Indian Head Nickels (4) Treated Dates + 1911 Liberty

The dates on these Buffalo Nickels have been treated with acid to bring out the date. They are readable, but not very good. I would call them ‘hole fillers’, coins you use to temporarily plug holes in your collection until you find better ones. Included in this auction is a 1911 Liberty nickel but it has some gouges in it. You see a lot of Liberty nickels like this, I don’t know what people did to them maybe used them for target practice or something. Anyway these are not great coins! Please do not bid on these unless you are familiar with the acid date process and understand what the dates will look like. The dates are as follows:

1914 – 1916 - 1918 – 1917 – 1920 – 1911
