I used this when I went back to college it was a great thing to have. It is very handy if you need to look up a word and then find another word that represents that word. It is also an organizer. I have just put in 2 new batteries, so she is already to go. It is easy to use and is explained on the top of the machine. I don't know if I still have the book to go with it, but I will look in one more place. You really don't need it, as I said the instructions are also on the open top. This was an expensive item to buy, but alas, I don't need it any longer. It is the Marriam-Webster Dictionary.
The color of it dark gray and a lighter shade of gray, very distinguished looking. I'm sorry, I am unable to find the little book that went with this, I assume it was lost during our recent move.
