New, never worn, full length white lace wedding dress. Ordered online and received wrong size--unable to return to vendor.

White lace, white lining. Very soft. Zipper back. Beautiful without being fancy. Tag is size 46, and should fit a size 20, or 2X. Measurements from size chart for this dress size are: Bust:47.2inch,Waist:41.7inch,Hip:51.1inch,Length:61inch; 2XL

Do you think this could be worn anytime besides a wedding.I just think it is very pretty.I just would not want to be laughed at if it really is a wedding dress.

This is a versatile dress. It was originally advertised as a wedding dress, but when it arrived, I immediately thought of an old-fashioned ice cream social with a big hat and parasol involved. I suspect this is the kind of wedding dress that a practical person, who wants a dress that can be used for other special occasions, could easily use as long as they don't mind wearing white. There are no care instructions, but I suspect it should be dry cleaned only.

Someone asked me about wearing heels with this. I am 5'8" and held it up to me (did not put it on--while the dress is intended for a friend, I'm still too large for it), it appears I could wear low heels with it IF it fit me.
