Frame_50 It comes with a usb adapter that allows you to plug in a device to your computer using av cables (red, white, yellow) and/or s-video cable. There is an installation cd, to install the drives as well as a program to view and record the media. Almost forgot, there is some paperwork in the box to that describes how to set everything up.

Box says Min requirements windows xp sp2 or higher. I haven't tried it with win 7. I imagine like most hardware, if it don't have the drivers needed for windows 7, the manufacturer (Pinnacle) will have the updated driver needed that can be downloaded from their website.
