Up for auction is this marvelous black gold filled ring size 9, stamped 18KT. The princess cut deep blue sapphire is beautiful. Four additional round cut blue sapphires nestle against the main stone. Sapphire is the birthstone of September. FREE GIFT!

Gold-filled jewelry, also known as "rolled gold" is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal. If the gold layer is 10KT fineness the minimum layer of karat gold in a stamped item must equal at least 1/10 the weight of the total item

I just wanted to let you know dear that you have a very beautiful ring up for auction & that it is worth much more than the credits that are currently bid.

It's so horrible that there are some that have the odasity to leave rude comments when apparently they do not know much about the jewelry & about the $ to credit ratio. Even more disturbing is that they are new....never had any listings of their own.

I have two questions, both may sound silly but I have to ask. One can this be resized, and two I have haven't ever seen a gold filled black ring. (only black gold I've ever heard of was Beverly Hills black gold, oil, LOL from that old show) Does this mean that the band is black? And if so does any (yellow) gold color come through from fading over time? It is truly beautiful!! I love it! Oh, approx size of main stone? Thanks!!!

I know about the oil, the Beverly Hillbillies! We live out on the northern plains of Colorado and oil drilling is a big deal. The band is indeed black. It is only black filled, so I don't really know if it will fade over time. The stone is approximately 1/4" by 3/8". Sorry I don't know the carats. Thank you so much!
