Calendulas bring pollinators to your vegetable garden. Tuck them in thru the garden. Add petals to salad. Makes a great salve. Attracts butterflies.

Plant ½" deep. Can take a light frost. Plant while weather is still cool. Thin to 8" apart. Color varies light to bright yellows, rust, straw colors.

Blooms midsummer to frost. Deadhead to extend bloom season, or let flowers go to seed to collect seed for next year.

Calendula deters asparagus beetles and tomato hornworms.
