Description

The listing, Book of the Holy Dark (book-safe) has ended.

FREE SHIPPING!!! This is another of my book-safes. It has a hidden place (under steampunk gizmo) to insert a key + compress the spring release button to pull back the inside latch for vault access. There is a smaller super secret vault inside the main vault. It is then automatically locked by simply closing the book, and can be opened again by repeating the above. The back (or bottom) has a signed pencil drawing of one of my research models. More pictures to come -- goth nail-key included. Outside overall is about 8" X 10" X 1 1/2" The main vault has a capacity of 6" X 8" X 1/2" I ship two day priority USPS usually the day after the auction ends and the winner provides a verified Listia address. All Listia rules apply -- good luck! PS: please fan + I will fan you back! ty

More poor quality pics to come! I'm including a goth cross to open it with which will make an awesome necklace. You can see one of my goth crosses in an older auction. The back of the book-safe has my map of the crossroads, "infini draconis omega" This can be viewed at www.pinterest.com/prepaidone along with all things made for listia. My poetry is there as well as other book-safes. The Crossroads Map is a culmination of a lifetime of research, study, and practice of the Occult, Parapsychology, Religion, and all things unseen. It is a model I use to save time + help me focus. Good luck, everyone! cu Wed!

Thanks -- I put everything I had into this one -- many, many hours. Most of the antique gears + other watch parts that make up the works in the steampunk gizmo rest on actual pins. I drilled a hole with a micro bit, and used tiny jeweler's screws for some. These "works" are mounted on a piece of tin, and the tin is attached to the plastic magnifier with brass offsets. I built this mostly from scraps, tin from cans, faux leather from bags + purses found in the dumpster, etc.. so my materials are used I guess. But I spent some serious coin over the years for machines + tools to work with, and I enjoy every second of it!

I apologize for the poor quality pics, but that's about as good as it gets. I spend hours at photo shop just to get them as they are. It's just not worth investing in better equipment even if I wanted to learn how to use it. Maybe you have other questions? ty

Wow! This is so neat! But a video showing of how it opens would be awesome!

And also, what I would need it for, the depth would have to be at least 3in deep!

Do you think this is something you can do?

Your response is so very much appreciated!

ty! Things can be hidden in the tank on back of the commode, taped to the underside of furniture, or even buried in the back yard.

Just use a better camera ( higher megapixel ) and most important keep your hand still or lean it against something before you take the picture
