"Fire opal is a transparent to translucent opal, with warm body colors of yellow to orange to red. Although it does not usually show any play of color, occasionally a stone will exhibit bright green flashes." (1) This is that stone.
This was offered to me as Rose Gold that was over .925 Silver. It does not have a Gold stamp on it but it does have the .925 Stamp. I cannot in good conscience list it, as I am just not sure, as such. I wanted to advise you the consumer that this is the description of what I bought.
I have two of these rings and they are both Size 7.75 and absolutely stunning. I hope that my camera captured the play in the Opals as they are amazing. If anyone is not clear on the colors due to your monitor I will gladly send a photo as a text, just let me know.
