The listing, VINTAGE SILVER TRINKET BOX has ended.

This vintage trinket box is made from silver and pottery which then the pottery is hand painted with a scene.
It measures 3" wide and 1" high.
I used a little silver polish on a spot to see if it was metal or silver. And I all so used a magnet to see if it would stick to it. It did not stick. In the pictures you can see where and where I did not use silver polish. If you have any questions just let me know and I will try to answer them. i do not know any thing about this piece but I am trying to research it to find some answers.

is there a stamp mark that says 925 or sterling? if not, then it is made of pewter, not silver.. just a bit of friendly advice..:)

Didn't even know that, so how can you tell if it's either one? There is no mark anywhere that I have looked on this. I haven't been able to find any information on this piece at all.
