The listing, Cat Purse, New with Tag has ended.
Vinyl and material, Madella tag, new, 6-1/2" h. x 10" w. x 3" d., handles 10" in size, note: this is not a shoulder purse since the handles are short. Festive cat wears heart tag with ribbon. Glowing balls of light of various colors are in the background.
I thought cat lovers would enjoy this purse. It will certainly make a wonderful gift for your daughter. We have 6 cats and Sage our rescue dog (profile pix).
The cat on the purse looks just like my resident terrorist "STARBUCK". If Dennis the Menace" was reicarnated as a cat, that would be him. Everyone thinks I exaggerate about his mischievious antics, until they spend some time around here. He is a unique character, to say the least. The funniest part is after he has committed "the deed" he will run off and then "peek": around the corner. Then he comes up to me all "lovey-dovey" waiting to be forgiven. He was "gifted" to me when he was a mid-age kitten because he had worn out his welcome in his first home! Although cleaning up after him isn't my favorite task of the day, he definitely provides much needed "comic relief" and I wouldn't give him up for any thing! He's an orange tabby and although I haven't found them yet, I know he has "tiny" devil horns buried down somewhere in his furry little head! He knew his name after three days just from hearing it called out so many times...lol. I sometines think I can actually hear the little wheels turning in his head while he ponders his next adventure! I'll tell him, "No!...Starbuck, don't do it!...which immediately preceeds the impending "CRASH"!!! He had the longest tail I've ever seen on a kitten. He just sort of grew in to his tail. Now, he's the size of a large tom cat; but, thinks he's still a cute little kitten with all the priveldges afforded to one. I sometimes think I should have named him "Conan the Destroyer"! Best part is he's only one of nine feline residents in our home. We're living the quote, "Every life should have nine cats" (literally).
Super cute purse; and yes, it is the perfect cat lover's gift. Is it considered a "gift" if you "win" it for yourself?...lol Sorry to "ramble" on so (anything to get out of starting my "chores", litter boxes first, of course).
I love the comments about Starbuck. We all need a good laugh. Our cats get into "trouble," but we still love them. We have a cat Blossom, a calico, that would have fun with your cat. One of her favorite things to do is to open the dresser drawer and pull out all my socks onto the floor and then sit in the drawer. I don't see how she has the strength to open the drawer. I think both of us could write a book about all the "trouble."
Nothing wrong with winning something for ourselves. It is a time of giving and we can give to ourselves besides relatives and friends.
I have deceided to add a free Bonus to the auction since it is going so well. I am adding a very cute vintage(pre-owned) brooch that is marked JJ. A cat is holding a fat fish and running. It is in good condition and made out of pewter.
I don't know Joe, seems to me you're the one who really wants it. I've put one bid in; you've put ten (10)... "for now". ..lol. Besides, I doubt the purse would look as good with your "shoes" as it would with mine...of course, I could be wrong...lol. ..Come on Joe, let's be friends...after all, we're all part of the Listia "family"...aren't we???? Of course,... I do collect "cat pins"...hmmmmm...We may have to "...go to the mattresses" on this one Joe... ("You've Got Mail" - "Godfather" quote)...lol. I am "teasing" you Joe...then again, men tend to be strong "competitors"; I may have to "sharpen" my claws for this one...lol...Jeene
