im not sure if its for life but i used it about 2 weeks ago and it had been off for about 3-5 weeks and it reupdated itself - i live on a military base and it works wonders on here and i know other people complain of theirs not working (Diff brand) this would be great I drove from MN to NV and then from NV to NC on this alone!!!

No you dont have to pay for any service that is provided by this GPS. all you do is turn it on and type the address you want to go and go! :) It has interest points but thats included

Bought a newer cell phone that has GPS built into it - Great Christmas Present!! I was bought this when my husband and I were stationed across country from NV to NC and it worked amazingly!!!!!!!!

My Dad has wanted a gps and we love ours. I will be watching and possibly bidding. Does this come with the charger? Also does it come with a case and or the thing to suction it to the window?

It comes with 2 chargers the original charger and an additional charger for if you switch out between cars. I dont have the suction cup anymore which is a fault on my end My husband might have one in his truck I will take a look and if he does I will see if it works with this GPS and add it in
