100 mm sphere with flat spot on bottom so it dont roll.It has bubbles in it.

This is a glass paper weight. Usually they were made of slag glass; but sometimes, they would do it this way, too. They were made in the mid-1970's; so, it's definitely vintage. The place on it that you are talking about that is not a chip, is probably a manufacturer's defect. You didn't show a picture of that. Anyway, this is a nice auction. Good luck. =D
