not solid gold. These are just gold leaf over cardboard. No real gold value, just a collectible

BUT, "just a collectible" to some may be a great find or "like" to others. I have a son that would not put the "gold value" on this but would put the indivuality of it, so dont make a flippant remark on someone elses auction. Its just not good Listian manners.

I can tell you that Babe Ruth cards will always increase in value and for the person who had the comment about its only gold over cardboard, well what is all baseball cards, cardboard and worth alot to some. like me!!!! so bid high or stay at home
