This precious piece is in mint condition, but lacks a box. It measures 3.5" high, 4.5" long, and 3" wide. The older sister bear, Elvira, hugs her little brother bear, Chauncey. They both wear sailor suits with patches. He also holds a patched saiboat, and she holds a telescope. They are made of resin and are hand-painted. On the bottom, the quote by Cicero reads,
"If a man could mount to heaven and
survey the mighty universe, his
