Description

The listing, UNCIRCULATED 1925 STONE MOUNTAIN MEMORIAL HALF DOLLAR has ended.

This auction is for a Very Scarce in this Condition, Uncirculated, 1925 Stone Mountain Memorial Half Dollar.
Finding this coin in the Uncirculated Condition is a Great Find and does not happen often. This coin does not have any Counter Stamp on the Reverse.

The scans above are of the actual item that you will receive, and are provided for you to determine the condition and/or grade of it.
I never clean or alter coins in any way, and do my best to allow you to see every detail and/or every blemish that the coins I list have, so that you can make an informed and confident bid.
I am no longer accepting GIN offers for my auctions, everyone now gets a shot at bidding.
I have changed my normal days to hold auctions, so now be sure to check out my auctions that run on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
The winner will receive this via FREE SHIPPING W/Tracking.
Remember that all Listia rules apply.

Now that the holidays are over with, the Post Office has been doing a better job of getting packages to their destination in a timely manner, but not all of them. Some are still taking up to a week (or more) for no special or evident reason.
Just let it be known that all items will be sent the next available day after end of auction, for I actually go to the Post Office and pay the Postage and Tracking in person so that you will receive your item as soon as possible. I also check all Tracking numbers daily and will keep you informed of anything that is out of the ordinary.
Thank you for your interest in my auctions and stopping by to view them.

If things go as they should with this one , the bidders will be overbidding it out of my comfort range again anyway ...I will be watching and maybe throw a bid in near end ....stating my intentions LOL

I do not know about "over bidding" with this commemorative, for it is old enough to be hard to find, but in uncirculated condition, even harder.
good luck on your intentional bid at the end :)

as long as they are appreciated here on listia, I will continue to offer up all of my extra coins here. I filled most of my collection here, and even though almost every one of those coins have been upgraded, I will continue to offer up ones not needed until they are not wanted, or like I said, not appreciated.

One of my favorite listians! I already have this one in AU+ / BU condition so I'll let this one go, but what a nice coin! One of my favorite comm halfs as well

that is great, it would be a very nice one to have in that condition. some people believe that since it is a commemorative coin that the year is not the year it was minted, but they are wrong.
I went on a short boycott on U.S. commemoratives because of the quality, purity and just plain beauty of Canadian commemoratives, but have now returned. :)

Funny you say that. I've taken a strong liking to Canadian coins recently. And I also liked what I read on a eBay add the other day about the US Constitution and Gold/Silver money. Not the worthless money that's minted today

you just can not beat the care and beauty put into Canadian Commoratives and Collectables. I do not like the colorized coins they are trying to get into, but they have plnty of everything else.
as far as this U.S. Commemorative, it was minted "back in the day" and not only its age is whats making it worthwhile. I also listed a 1920 Maine Centennial coin that should match, if not better, what this coin does.

I would say that you can not beat uncirculated, but finding one graded sure did. this will definately look great in any collection... it did in mine for a very long time.
