Ugh. Siri. I don't want or need technology with an attitude, or to sass me.
I've watched as Siri first misunderstands me, corrects it's error to say EXACTLY what I said, then watched as it "corrects" itself again and comes up with a totally meaningless phrase.
They need to allow Siri to learn new words and sounds. But maybe Apple is afraid that would allow Siri to become a racist pedophile, like Microsoft's "intelligent Twitter bot" did sometime this month!
Yeah, the one you showed looks like a correction, from they to he. Spell check was apparently the worst thing to happen to literature in the last 100 years, because it amazes me the garbage that gets past the Editors. You know, when they mean one word, but probably spell it wrong, and so when whoever spell checks it, they just pick a likely word, or it automatically picks a commonly misspelled word.
Sometimes I swear that they're writing on a Smartphone and have autocorrect set too aggressively!
Like within the last half hour, I saw two auctions saying some funny stuff. One was selling a Costune. (Must be Bill Cosby singing, right? You know, a Cos-Tune!)
And the second said, "All rule Apple"! Which some would agree with heartily, even though I don't think he meant it that way. ^_^
Very true, I hate auto correct. Some of the words it comes up with are either not even a word or something way off from what it is supposed to be or that would make sense. Let not even get into the words Siri comes up with.
