Especially since this card goes for less than $1.40 at most online retailers, add 50 cents for stamps and envelope, and your not half way to $5 that's way out of cost for this card. Free shipping, or no deal. Thanks.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the card was actually stolen from me this morning at the card shop. I'll try really hard to get it back, but from the feedback at said shop it doesn't seem likely. I could try to send something else instead, but I'd have to discuss it with the winner.

Well, that puts the situation in a different light. While I was wrong to bid something I did not realize wasnt free shipping, and being a bit agro about it, which I apologize for, the thief has put you in a precarious counterpart. Here is an offer/suggestion to both our issues, if you agree, I'll post in next in case there isnt room here.

Could we come to an agreement on something you could send me for free shipping? Since you own or run a shop with MTG, I am assuming that you are an avid player, or at least knowledgeable enough about EDH to know what I am about to suggest. I am building a Kresh based deck. Now I know there are many strategies, but there are some utility cards that do not cost much, but can be very helpful to any config on that deck. Could you suggest something as a middle of the road agreement? I'm willing to attempt to work this out, and I'll save the sob story, I just cannot afford shipping, crazy as that sounds. Recursion or Tutoring is something I really need, is there something you could afford to pay the shipping on, and would benefit my deck? If I win this one at 101, I would not feel you obliged to suggest a card at the same level as OB costs. Thoughts?

I understand the misunderstanding, but I do not under any circumstances run or own a card shop. I simply spend quite a bit of time hanging out at the local card shop, which was where Ob Nix was stolen. The price of shipping is about as much as a stamp, so I'm not going to worry about that at all.

My suggestion is that we just let this auction run down, I'll automatically refund your credits, and I'll put up the PS3 Liliana Vess promo that I got from FNM last week and see how it goes.

Does that sound like a plausible scenario?

I also just bought a large number of cards from my friend who quit, so I may put up quite a few of them, too. He was big into artifacts and werewolves and such. I've got several hundred cards I haven't even looked through yet, and I already had more than I needed, so I'll be giving bonuses for future auctions, too. I feel horrible about losing Ob.
