I had one (yes, just one) when they first came to America in the 1960's, so I made up for it when my kids were young by getting them a whole slug of them in the early 1980's. Of course they all ran away from home.... or got lost in a move (I prefer the former story of the two), but I had the good fortune to go to an estate clean out and got an arm-full of them, like Barbie... from all professions, all walks of life; like Barbie, they were in all sorts of shapes/heights; and like Barbie, their wacky proportions stayed the same...... the squatty little fellas.
Hey, for my collector's dollar, they have TY's Beanie Babies all to heck.
