I'm dying to write someone! I love to pen pal. The photos in this listening are some of my Instagram pics. You can follow me under the same name I have here on Listia. I don't just write everyone because it adds up$$$. But who ever wins this auction, will get a fun crafty letter from me. I love the art scene. I'm into the handmade movement. I'm crafty, I paint, sew, draw, and love mixed media art. I am a vintage lover and shop at Goodwill, yards sales, and estate sales so I always come across interesting items I sometimes use in my mail and art. The winner will not get anything that is shown in these photos. These are just examples of my style in snail mailing and also a peek of my supplies. Winner will receive a fun filled letter from me with little surprises stuffed in the envelope. You don't have to write back. Just open and enjoy!!!
If winner wishes, they can send me a little info of themselves that they would like me to know. This project is not to gain or solicit for any type of relationships. I would just like to share my creativity with someone and hopefully spark someone else's. Happy bidding!

I used to have many pen pals when I was in grade school!! I'm glad to see people getting back into the fine art of letter writing. Have you tried doing Pocket Letters yet? I recently got one from a girl on here and they're such fun to do!!

I've seen these on here but never clicked on one to see what it actually was. This is such a great idea. Like others on here I used to do the pen pal thing when I was young and it was great fun. I have gotten so bad about letter writing now so maybe this would be a great way to get back into it. I have a friend who recently went to prison :( so I'm really trying to get in the habit of writing her. I wish I could send her cute things too but that's a no no altho cards & pics I can do. I'm so glad I took a peek at this today & definitely will bid on one of yours in the future!

I'm so happy you got a chance to drop in and take a peek. I've been pen paling for about a year and I've received so many interesting fun packages! I've received tea, pretty paper, stickers, little art creations, beautiful letters some with calligraphy writings too! And so much more!!

Awesome you should get back into it. There are people all around the world looking for pen pals. You can find a great deal of pen pals on Instagram. You can even view their pictures to get an idea of their style and what kinda stuff they send.

I have a friend I write weekly but see her 2-3 times a week, lol. Letters show me another side of her I would have never known if we didn't write to each other. It's so awesome!!

Geez, I would LOVE to be your pen pal! I am artsy/craftsy myself and love sending miniature drawings, etc. in the mail. Sometimes I even do that when someone buys something from me! Anyway, I hope I win this. Good luck!

I grew up pen-paling with those tiny books we called friendship booklets they would get passed around then home when full. the goodies envelopes as well.

Yes the friendship booklets are so cool. I think I have one still have one I need to pass on, if I find it, I'll include it. It has names and addresses of pen pals who want to write to who ever gets their name:)

You're right! Writing does show another side of the person. Sitting in silence with your thoughts ..... it just seems like the pen magically moves itself & before you know it, you've written a 3 page letter LoL.
