yes,its flat! This bag is almost 50 years old, but amazingly still pretty good, almost like new. Plastic inside shows age, not wear. But overall, a blast from the past. Flat it is, and I might throw in a similar animal print change purse in a future auction.

11 1/4 so 11 inches to be safe, wide and 7 1/4 Tall, so 11 x 7 inches. TY for your interest. It is a "Basics" purse made in the Philippines.
