I don't even believe in tatooing, piercing etc. because my Bible tells me not to do such but there is no reason for someone to be so rude and to make uncalled for statements in your comment section. To each his own and we are not supposed to judge. Only one can do that as my grandson's tatoo says. LOL Sorry for the rude person above. Fanned you and watching for my daughter which is interested in these things. :0)

Loving the support on this auction. There are good peeps on Listia! I think you would love The Customized Body. I'm only involved with the industry as a client, and there's so many aspects of modification I wasn't aware of - that's what drew me to it. Plus I love photography, and the intimacy of the photos in the book really tell a story. It's not clinical, it's very personal. It's great. Just not something I can display on my bookshelf anymore with little kidlets and kidlet friends in the house. So it needs a new home.

Notes on the books: The Body Art Book I bought used and it has some markings, but is in otherwise great condition. Has color photo inserts. The Customized Body is a 'photo book' - mostly illustrations, little content. It has some shelf wear but is in excellent condition. This is a great book for someone in the industry, or heavily interested in body modifications on a personal level. Amazing photos, but definitely a book that's not for everyone. For US winners, I will be shipping the books separately, media rate. They'll still arrive by Christmas if you provide you address quickly. I ship within 24 hours of address in most cases. Wow... I could REALLY use this I am fixing to start training to be a piercer. And also I am a STRONG believer in Jesus and I am a Christian. But, I have talked to many youth pastors about getting tattoos and piercings before I got them. It does say in Leviticus that tattoos and piercings are a sin but that was for the Jewish people. And also God looks at the inside not the out. :) So if your a Christian and want tattoos or piercings just make sure you use them to glorify God:)

Can the cleaner work on my plugs and help the smelling? I'm a 1/2 inch if that makes a diff

Yes, the microbial cleaner is perfect for piercings. I used it to cleanse my nostril piercing and both my trags (which were a huge pain, in more ways than one). It smells funny, kind of like bandaids, but works gently and effectively. I've never had an infection using this stuff. Some piercers also use this during the sale of jewelry - a small amount is squirted into the zip-top baggie, then the piercing; keeps it sterile until you get home to insert it. If you already have an infection it won't heal it, but it definitely won't hurt it. This is no-sting cleaner.
