Senflower seeds mammothSow
After the danget of frost has past. Plant seeds in average soil. Sow seeds 2-3 inches apart. The seeds will take 7-14 days to emerge. When seedlings get about 2 to 3 inches thin to 4-5 inches apart.
The plant will grow 6 to 13 feet tall. Plant in full sun. The heads of the sunflower will be huge.
You can eat the seed or use as bird seed. And you can use some of the seeds for next years crop
