I wouldn't lower the days don't these people understand the meaning of an auction. Lowering the days ruins the bidding on an auction which means you get less credits for your item.

For anyone expecting that this is $1700 worth of gold, know that it is NOT solid gold.

If i follow right, this is 1 full troy oz of gold. this means that it is valued at the spot price of gold, correct? So right now the value of it is around $1700. Am I right or misunderstanding?

Nice auction! I see you are kinda new here, please don't let the rude people chase you away. Sure there are many people here that try to be misleading and you have to learn how to filter thru them but, I dont feel you were trying to be dishonest. Listia can be alot of fun!!! Good luck on your auction!

I believe gold filled means it has as much as 5 per cent real gold and has to have around a 10K purity (not positive), however usually the metal is bonded to the gold (mostly iron is used for weight). .05 oz of 10k gold is valued at 33.70 but it will cost around $175 to ship to get it melted down. So most people just hold on to these pass them down to kids. But if you get a couple hundred of them go ahead and ship it to be melted :)

If it's gold filled, what's the outside? I'm new at ALL of this. Gold plated, filled. Never really heard of filled though
Dec 2nd, 2011 at 3:04:54 PM PST by

I'm not an expert by no means but when i'm told that gold filled will not turn or make your
skin etch that makes it better than gold plated because i have experienced both problems
