I don't even remember where I acquired this one. Just found it while unpacking boxes after moving about a year ago. Kept it, thinking I might use it someday but never have. Still has the 2 original batteries that were included with it but I can't guarantee that they still work. :}

Shipping cost is $1.25 -- I'm sure it will cost at least twice that much to ship it but I'm willing to share the cost with the winning bidder.

Tried the old batteries and of course they didn't work. Put in new batteries and that is the pic you now see, with the old batteries on the scale..........12.7 grams.

can this be used to weigh small packages or envelopes?

Yes, anything up to 17 lbs. as long as it can be place on the weighing surface without sagging over and touching on the sides. The weighing surface is 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
