The listing, Used MP3 player has ended.

This is a used zen mp3 player, pretty scratched up but still works. It holds 1gb of music. I currently do not have an adapter but it uses a mini usb cord (same exact cord a PS3 controller uses). These cords are fairly common and inexpensive. If bids go over 800 I will throw in brand new ear buds!!

They are pretty nice :) I've had mine for 4 years now I think and never had a problem with it :D it sounds great and I don't need any software to use it!!

Does it use batteries? If so, how many and what size? Otherwise how does it get charged up?

Good question!
No it does not use batteries it is rechargeable. But you need a mini usb cord which is not included. This does not need any software either, you just plug it into your computer and it's ready to go. :)
