Despite their delicate appearance, Lily of the Valley is very tough and will flourish with little care. The dainty white bell-shaped blooms are VERY FRAGRANT!!An added bonus, unlike most flowering plants, they bloom readily in the shade! They spread via runners and can be used as a ground cover or in containers!
Though they prefer shade, they will tolerate sun.
Lily of the Valley is one of my favorites and I look forward to their intoxicating perfume every spring! I love to put several sprigs in a miniature vase along with wildflowers!
