I have heard this set called the "Eagle", "Dragon", and the "Fantasy" set. Whatever you choose to call it, the set is a beautiful and fascinating one.
With the blades facing left they have gold etching that I did my best to pick up on my phone. They are bound tightly around the handles with a non-slip grip. They almost look like Eagle or Dragon heads at the tip depending upon your imagination.
The knives measure 8 1/4" long and 5 1/4" long. This has been a very popular set just about everywhere you can find it of late. My set is flawless however it does not come in a box. I am overloaded and trading at the moment to make some room.
This is a wonderful set and any knife collector should be proud to have it if for nothing else for it's oddities and it's craftsmanship. It is a work of art.
