It is not in the original package due to the fact that I took them both out and used one, and then decided to share the other unused one with someone else because it's so awesome! You place a piece of a peeled fresh fruit or cooked veggie (nothing rock hard, though) inside of the blue mesh bag, close the latch and let your baby gum away at it! They get all the benefits of the food, and you don't have to worry about your baby biting off any too-large chunks.
