Honestly~ I have no clue what these are used for! SORRY, My aunt gave these to me and I don't know what they are for. So, I have 12 of these braided thread things. They are all purple and it sayd that they are an discontinued item on the package paper over them.

lol i know right! I was like whatever I am just going post it up here maybe someone would know what it is and then they could tell me lol bc my aunt is trying to give me more but different colors! lol

most of the thread from Potter's was silk or cotton and was used for embroidering. Color holds even after decades of sitting around! The cardboard 'containers allow threads to be pulled out one at a time. lol fanned and watching
