porcelian is a type of glass, if dropped yes they will break, just like glass does, same as if you drop a porcelian figurine it will break also, these are not made of plastic

if played with carefully and not dropped they will last a long time, also why i put great for adults, would look great on a wall shelf as a display, consider this tea set as being close to fine china glassware, these same kind of tea sets are also made in cartoon characters for children, i have seen this same type of porcelian tea sets in cartoon characters listed on listia

small size, to put on a shelf as a display or in a china cabinet or for children, not full sized, not the size of the dishes you eat your food on
