I don't think it is. I looked at the ingredients and it says "ammonium hydroxide". I do know that when I used the first one it wasn't too strong in smell.

how intence did the red come out was it real fake looking ?

For me, since I've done a LOT of coloring, and bleaching to my hair, its hard for color to stick. The first day I didn't really notice a change at all. After a couple days I took a shower and finally noticed color. It was lighter than my black hair, and more reddish. It looks like I have brown hair pretty much haha. In the sun you can really see the red. I was reading online from someone who used this exact same box that they used one the first night, and then turned around and did a 2nd one the next day and red looked more red after the 2nd time. Only reason I'm not doing that is because I want a crazy color now, like blue haha. If you want the link to the blog I read that review from just let me know :)
