It looks like something sold by an old timey "snake oil salesman", but I found a listing in a druggist handbook posted online. (see link below)

The bottle is in excellent condition. The box is more worn, but it's fun to read. It says sold since 1925, but I can't tell when this bottle was purchased. It is marked 25 cents, and the druggist record says 50 cents, so it must be an earlier bottle.
