This Kindle is practically brand new. My son purchased this less than 2 weeks ago, and just learned that he won a new Kindle Fire in a contest..lucky kid! So he gave this to me to pass along on Listia. This still has the box it was shipped in. This model sells for 189.00 on Amazon. It has no special offers (advertisements) and will come with the brand new case with a built in book light that was just purchased for it. I know what you mean. I wouldn't have one, but my mother in law bought me one for my birthday this year. I love hardback novels. In my opinion the thicker the novel the better, lol....She got me a Kindle because my hubby is very ill and in the hospital a lot and with a Kindle I wouldn't have to lug a heavy book around.

It will, but you don't need a computer to use it. It has lifetime free 3G to connect and download your books, so if you didn't have a computer, you could still use it.

I had one but dropped it and broke it. Don't get me wrong, it is very durable as I dropped it may times but this last time I must have hit in just the right way. Trying to replace a much loved item, bidding!

The charger was not sold with it. I will double check to see if I have a spare. I will post an update about the charger when I ask my son this afternoon. The case that he bought for it with the built in light is included, as well as the microfiber cloth and screen cover that was in the box. Thanks for asking, that slipped my mind.

I really don't like to be rude, but this is the third time I have to point this out. I can NOT put a get it now after bidding has started. Please read the entire listing and comments before asking. Not to mention when you ask a seller to put a get it now that suits you, nine times out of ten it is going to cheat the seller out of well deserved credits that they may get if they leave it up long enough for people to both see it, and gather more credits to bid. When you are looking at a high priced item, and to me, over two hundred dollars worth of stuff is a high priced item, asking a seller to either lower days or to put a low get it now is just insulting. Please think before you post, guys. Thank you!
