Please consider that I base my GIN on several things and I try to be as fair as possible.
• I multiply what I pay for the item times the rate of credits.
• I also consider the 10% that Listia charges me to make a GIN
• I consider the 1000-3000 credits it costs to make the auction Premium
• The 50 credits they take just for listing an auction
• The Shipping fee which could be anywhere from 2.50 to 13.00 depending on the weight and the distance of travel that it has to go.
So for instance if I set a gin at 100k , I would have to subtract 10k for listing which brings my balance down to 90k, subtract the premium fee which could be 3000 credits bringing my portion to 87k, if I spend 5 dollars to ship that's taking another 40k off my balance which brings my portion down to 50k that means for me to even break even the item I have listed will have cost me 7 dollars. So I know 100 k sounds high for a 7.00 item but if I don't break it down like this then I lose out and it is not worth listing anymore. So please think before you ask to lower the GIN. Most likely I can not lower it . I really try to make it as fair as possible and I am not out to be greedy.
