This scale works perfectly and comes with the cord that fits into your computer port. It has an on & off switch in the back. Weighs accurately, as I weighed items on my other scale then on this one & they were exact. I only used this for a couple months then ended up buying one from Amazon as I didn't have room on my desk. In photo# 5 I showed that the cord has 2 usb plugs, not sure what that is used for. I know the small end goes into the back of the scale & on the the larger ones goes into my computer. I'm sure this will also work on a lap top also. Any questions feel free to ask, I'll try to answer as best I can. I do not know for sure how much weight it goes up to as most of my mailings were under a lb. If my memory serves me correctly, I think it weighs up to 5 lbs.
