Personally I feel that the story "Rage" is the precursor of Stephen kings novel "Carrie" ( or to test the waters or to lay the pathway for the book Carrie to become the big success it was.) I read it 25 years ago, years after it was originally written, in my senior year of High school and wrote a report about it, I totally fell in love with it all before I realized it was written by Stephen King and that Buchman was his pen name. Rage was the novel that got me into reading Stephen King books
