What would you do for your 50th birthday? Mine is Saturday. I don't like the idea of being 50 but the alternative is worse. I used to baby sit my cousin when she was little now she's a grandmother too. I feel really old.Merry Christmas to everybody.

Next, when I celebrated my 40th we went to Disney World and celebrated being young. Maybe you should do something like that. Celebrate being young. :)

I went to my daughter's house today. The baby who is 15 months is just starting to walk really well was really happy to see me. Then the older 2 came home from school. My daughter acted normal like nothing ever happened and asked me for money for the kids to shop at Secret Santa at school. Also she didn't throw the gifts back in my face like I expected. I told her what I got the kids for Christmas and she said they could have them. Maybe things are going to get better.

I've caught some kind of bug but it's not the holiday spirit kind.My eyes are so puffy I can't hardly see to type. My throat is scratchy and I'm even more tired than I usually am. I was at WalMart buying a bag of Purina dog chow for my dog , in the check-out line when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Why else would I be buying dog chow, RIGHT ??? So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't, because I ended up i...n the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in inten......sive care, with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and all you do is load your pockets with Purina Nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care, because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle's butt and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. Better watch what you ask me and be prepared for my answer. I have all the time in the world to think of crazy things to say........................ now that you've read it I have to confess, I copied it from someone else.. share and make someone else smile today :) This is ruff....lol still laughing .............

yummy! and thx Tweety. there has been so many great Listian that have welcomed me and have helped me a lot. I've very thankful, more then they know. if you don't mind I would like to share how I found listia.. well guess u really can't answer that til I post. so I think that's a yes! I'm 43, married 1 grown up daughter with a hubby and a 2 yr old beautiful daughter, gamma's love and joy. then a 14 yr son, 6 yr daughter.. (had a 7 yr itch going on. haha. ok, I have a really bad back, surgery can't fix or do anything for it, so there's times I just hurt so much I'll lay around and get depressed on the weekends just worn out from a week of work. my dear sweet hubby says, "you need a hobby, and shopping doesn't count!" yea right! so my son said mom check out this site I heard about... Listia!!!! yup, became hooked in 2 days.. well that's not a hobby. oh ok?! I am now going to give my hand at having a flower beds next year. I can't believe all the beautiful seed and " deadheads" I have won on here. so yes, listia isn't a "hobby" but I HAVE to be on hers to get my hobby supplies! Bahaha!! after getting a few things for hubby after he saw everything the kids were getting I think he felt left out, so like a said after getting awesome stuff too he will now say.. have you listed any more auctions or found more stuff you like? my only problem now.. how am I going to plant seeds and weed?? That is funny that your son turned you onto listia. That is how I found out about listia too. Listia has become more than a hobby for me, it has become my social blog so to say, lol. Anyone following my auctions basically has a pretty good idea who I am and what is going on in my life. My hubby even helps me find things to list on listia now because he has decided that this has been a very positive place for me (well for the most part). Easy as Cake Cookies:
1 box of cake mix (any flavor you perfer)
1 stick of butter or margerine
1 Large egg

melt butter and add in large mixing bowl to cake mix , mix til cool enough to add egg then mix til firm...roll into balls place on no stick or lightly greased cookie sheet bake til golden brown (bout 10minutes) at 350 (please read box and feel free to experiment, some cake mixes bake best if baked at temp on box.)

you can add 1/2 to 1 cup peanutbutter to mix to make peanutbutter cookies or blossoms. add chocolate chips or anything you wish...so simple I have been maken these sense I was 3 or 4 years old and everyy year i try new ideas.

Brownie Bear is 2 weeks old today :)
I couldnt remember if I told yinz bout her yet or not. well with my health we decided to get a puppy and train it to help me but be a pal for Pinky and wee one also. so when my neighbors dog had puppies Pinky got to see them be born and picked out a puppy and my neighbor said we can have it. I figure bonding from day one we should be able to train her myself.(ive trained dogs alot older before to be guard dogs and stuff so im going to try to train her to pick things up i drop and stay by me and bark for help when i pass out.) anyways Pinky girl named her Brownie...but right now she kinda looks like a bear cub so I call her my Brownie Bear!!! Her eyes and ears are opening up and she is learning to walk :) I was holding her and had a dizzy spell and laid down incase i pass out (didnt want to fall) anyways Brownie start yelping and licking my face until I pet her told her good girl and that I was ok. which like my neighbor and I both agree we think she was ment for me and she will learn fast and be very helpfull for me. when she hears my voice or Pinkys her little tail waggs its sooo cute. I never realised how fast puppies bond. Im glad we have been in her life sense birth. I held her when she was 4minutes old and Pinky pet her.

also for families that cant aford a christmas dinner check your local soup kitchen and find out when they will be serving christmas dinner all needy families are welcomed at the soup kitchen and please any families who have an extra can of corn or loaf of bread in your freezer or other edible food youn dont desire please concider donating to your local soup kitchen or food pantry or even local homeless shelter. like my mommy always said no matter how hard times are for us there will always be someone somewhere having a harder time. As a kid we didnt have alot but we always made a basket and donated to the homeless shelter or soup kitchen...as I got older i continued and even volunteered at the soup kitchen. this year we dont have much but Pinky and I will make cookies to take to the battered woman and children shelter we lived at for a little bit, and we will also take a can each to the veterans hospital to their soup kitchen for homeless or no family vets. We will also volenteer at our local soup kitchen. We also are maken cards and taken to the Vets hospital and the old folks home and to the battered woman shelter and soup kitchen...Christmas is not bout what WE get but bout what we can give to others. She asked if all people with no money are nice like us I had to tell her sadly some people are so sad they have no money they forget that maken someone else smile is a great and rewarding gift and the most riches gift you can give and get. she smiled and said when she wakes up for christmas if all she gets is a hug and smile from me she will be happy cuz mommies smile and hugs are better than toys and clothes. (i cried but smiled and said they were happy tears) I wish more kids were like her!

@ tweety, yes it's my blogging time to. I don't get on fb much, but here I just feel like a family. We're all having hard times right now and I know I'm not alone!! Plus I get awesome items!! Ok, way to many purses, but things we really need or stuff the kids find and want. Tonight I started at the very beginning of your comments and there has been so many comments that made me say.. Tonight I was hurting really bad, no relief from the pills, but reading has gotten my mind off the pain and I have enjoyed reading all the comments. You can come by anytime. We are a great support for each other through the good and the bad. There are a few more of us that are not as active right now because of the holidays, but I am sure they will be back with us after the first of the year. It can get to be a bit of a riot on here sometimes, lol.

@fosterj It's nice to hear from you. I was beginning to think you had left the building lol. As for food gifts for teens,try this easy fudge recipe:
Boil 4 cups sugar and 1 can condensed milk until the soft boil stage. Remove from heat and add about 6 oz of peanut butter and 6 oz of marshmallow cream and a stick of butter. Stir with mixer. Put in a large metal pan sprayed with Pam or butter spray and let it cool about 2 hours. (A glass is too hard to remove the fudge).

I hate this cold :( Been in bed sense Friday and cant eat or drink at all or it comes back up...Little Pinky been right beside me poor girl says her head feels like its going to fall off and her belly button is touching her backbone cuz food wont stay in it..
@ Tweety Pinky got a package today i think from the September swap??? (from you) Thank you so much she needed new crayons and erasers and a new notebook for school. She was excited and said when she feels better she wants to color pictures and cut them out with her new siccors.

Anyone needing help for christmas for kids please contact your local welfare office and speak to your caseworker alot of times they do christmas parties for families...also contact them and ask about Toys for Tots. some places if you contact your local Marine base they can help see if you qualify and get you on the list. However the deadline in most places is Today or tomorrow because starting the 10th they start distributing gifts.
Salvation Armys can help sometimes but most there dead lines were november 30th. these are all things to concider for next year. I missed all of our local help and christmas party sign ups and our coat and boot drive...but atleast i now have the info to try for help next year.Also listen to the radio ALOT of times radio stations give away gift cards to families in need and gift baskets.(or so i have heard.) Also anyone involved with OCY (CYS) or any forum of child service agancey PLEASE talk to your caseworker they too can help get you a christmas dinner sometimes a tree and decorations and gifts for your whole family.

Pinky is feeling alot better...As for me Im better but not the greatest I think cuz Im pregnant thats why it is taken so long for me to get better. And Brownie Bear is great!!! Thanks for asking!!!
Brownie was out on the floor practicing learning to walk and decided to learn to squat also and piddeled on the floor :( I was so imbarassed and felt bad cuz it was my neighbors floor sense thats where Brownie lives for another 4-6 weeks. My neighbor chuckled and said it was ok, atleast we know she is more indapendant than her sisters.(her sisters are twins and they are mommy girls and wont go potty without their mommy, and wont walk yet, well not ass much as Brownie.)
