Up for consideration today is a very nicely preserved piece of Victorian butterfly art. This lovely piece holds three different butterflies the names of which are listed on the back of the frame, as well as the year "89." It looks like the paper backing was removed from the original frame at one point to insert new cardboard backing and nails to keep the scene intact. The butterflies are just gorgeous; this would look great on a stand on a desk or bookshelf.
