The listing, 1936 Dated FDR FRANKLIN D ROOSEVELT President pin-back button coin token Aluminum machine shop made has ended.
Offered is an original 1936 political election presidential campaign item as a bright Newark, New Jersey machine shop made aluminum medal button pin-back. A great cross over collectible with Roosevelt dime collectors.
It was made by Joseph Waldman in his machine shop in Essex County, Irvington, Newark, New Jersey to promote the re-election of Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
It is a nicely detailed FDR 3/4" FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT for President and is dated at the bottom 1936 with what I believe are the machinist maker's initials J.W. Waldman on the bottom of the FDR bust. A photo of the bust and underlying initials are shown.
Waldman also made several 1932 items promoting Roosevelt as well as anti prohibition aluminum campaign pinbacks supporting Stewart for US Senator and Repeal.
Almost mint clean, very bright, untarnished aluminum metal medal numismatic exonumia styled badge, pin or button pinback, similar to the design on the Roosevelt dime and a nice cross over collectible.
