He has a love of making confetti out of paper. I give him the toilet paper rolls. Once in a while it still has a little paper on it. That keeps him busy. He is a bossy thing. For the most part he is loose. His wings are trimmed. He does not fly. He falls with lack of grace.
yea lol love my shreaders lol i give them empty boxes so i dont have to tear them up , just have to clean it all up , we dont cage ours , males cage is always open , our female we just had to take her cage away and put her on a perch , she keep laying eggs and chaseing everyone but my hubby lol now that shes on a perch , she steped up for me and ive even got to pet her a few times , going great so far
me neather lol wish i had the time to do something like that lol with my 3 kids and 2 macaws my hands are full , get to put auctions up when there all in bed sleeping
I have no small children. My cockatoo does like to "help". By help I mean destroy or throw the things on the floor. That is if he has not decided it is his. Touching it after it has been "claimed" could result in being bit or a loud fit. Crafting I best done when he is a "jail bid".
lol our male loves to destroy things , he took off all the wall paper that he could reach , put holes in the wall for me to fix , i can even leave cases of water any were near him , he takes the lids off , dumps the water to chew on the bottles , i keep him stocked up with bottles now , our female just destroys what you give her lol
That is a great idea. I have to lock mine up if nobody is home and at night. If not he picks on the dogs. We have two small dogs. He likes to give them heck.
my dog wont go near our birds , i think she knows better lol our female want to mate with our male , but hes not haveing it lol hes young just turned 3
we havent eather , our female we know cause she has laid eggs lol male we was told by the previous owners lol and with max trying to mate with zazu not to hard to tell lol
yea but some females dont lay eggs , i guess it depends on the bird really lol max laid her first egg arond 7 , theres birds in there 30s and 40s and never laid a egg so you never know lol
Good point. I have no information on mine. Not even from the first name or how many owners. Nothing. At the pet store they knew nothing. Not even a name.
if your bird was a baby most likely they got from a breeder , we got a puppy one time , aspose to be a shitzu but was a mix breed , they didnt was sued , and got our money back , your lucky to got him , they dont take care of the animals in pet shops
That one was a local family owned shop. The animals where we'll cared for. It shut because small pet shops don't make money when 2 big box store pet shops come to town. When I got him I had no idea his age. I still do not know his age. We have a large flea market that has a puppy mill selling in it. My mom's friend bought a "Maltese" from them over 10 years ago. It was a bichon frise. She kept him. At some point my mom was baby sitting the dog and fell in love. Now it is her favorite breed. She has one now.
