The listing, iPod 8GB (1st Gen?), Broken, with charger/data, Y audio, & 3.5mm jack to RCA! has ended.

8GB Apple iPod- BROKEN, AS-IS, FOR REPAIRS.
There's no camera, so I am assuming its a 1st Gen iPod. If you wanna know any specific numbers printed on the pieces, just ask! The screen shows a little wear, noticeable only if you look closely. The digitizer, if that's what it's called, is in very good condition cosmetically.
NOW, if you are a technician and you repair this, you'll need the following accessories to compliment your cool device!
(1) Charger/Data transfer cable
(1) Y audio cable
(1) 3.5mm jack to 2xRCA cable

are the parts working, but are just split apart as in broken, or is it internally broken?

This I am not sure about. I bought it and was told that someone took it apart to fix the sound jack. Obviously that person wasn't able to do it! I was going to give it to a friend to fix, but I never did. So, as far as I know, the digitizer and other components 'may' function. Hope this answers ur question.

once a bid is placed you cant retract it. you have to be outbid. but i will outbid you. just be more careful because if it gets to close to the end you may get stuck with bad feedback if you cant get outbid on things.

so, whats really wrong with the Ipod??? just the sound jack is broken? glass infront is fine right? my wife dropped hers and broke her outter glass.

The glass has small little scratches; which, if you are familiar with iPods, will basically be invisible when the device is on... on the rear of the screen is an obvious connection/solder point, so u'd have to be able to at least know how to do that! I have never attempted to fix this device! I took it out of the bag that I received it in, and laughed at myself for even thinking about it! I was going to give it to a friend to fix, but ended up putting it in a drawer. So, I have never seen it powered on.
