The listing, Spiderwort or Tradescantia 5 seeds has ended.
If starting spiderwort seeds indoors, do so about eight weeks prior to transplanting outside. It should take anywhere from 10 days to six weeks for germination to occur. Producing small, perfect, jewel-tone flowers, these beauties open over several weeks. Spiderworts bloom freely, but seldom produce the "wow" factor of some perennials. Group them for the best impact. Provide leafy neighbors to camouflage fading foliage. Since spiderwort is a vigorous grower, it’s probably a good idea to divide the plants in spring every three years or so.
