These were my grandmother's (I am 59) buttons so are quality buttons. NOTE: there is another auction this week for green and blue buttons identical to the brown 4 hole buttons. Also, the pic showing the thickness of the buttons is from the green button auction!This auction includes the following buttons:
2 brown buttons, 1 3/8 inches, 4 hole
2 brown buttons, 1 1/8 inches, 4 hole
1 brown button, 7/8 inches, 4 hole
2 brown/tan buttons, 7/8 inches, shank -- this a metal shank. I tried to get a good picture of the front of this button, but I am not sure it shows the depth and the swirl of the colors. This button is also quite thick.
